Still No Plea Deal For Burress

Wide receiver Plaxico Burress is scheduled to be in court Monday on the gun charges that he faces in connection with last year's incident in which Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg at a New York nightclub.

But Burress's attorney, Benjamin Brafman, told the New York Daily News that he expects the case to be adjourned again.

Burress's attorneys and prosecutors have been unable to agree to a plea deal, according to the Daily News.

Burress's side hopes to postpone the case until September, the Daily News reported. Burress is a free agent after being released by the New York Giants.
