Burress to Testify Before Grand Jury
UPDATED (1:59 p.m.)...
According to a report by ESPN, Plaxico Burress will testify before a grand jury Wednesday in Manhattan in his weapon possession case.
Benjamin Brafman, Burress's attorney, previously had indicated that the decision would be made Tuesday.
Burress is facing weapon charges stemming from the incident last year in which he accidentally shot himself in the leg at a New York nightclub.
Prosecutors are adamant that Burress must serve jail time in any plea agreement, and no deal has been reached.
The wide receiver is a free agent after being released by the New York Giants.

Shoulda taken that plea deal when you had the chance, dude. Now the prosecutor is saying 2 years! Should have left the gun at home, just gotten drunk at the club and ran over some jaywalker and you would have been out of jail months ago...
