Enshrinement Day in Canton

It's enshrinement day at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, as the six-member class elected earlier this year is inducted.

Ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

This year's class includes Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson and former players Bruce Smith, Randall McDaniel, Bob Hayes, Derrick Thomas and Rod Woodson.

It's a big weekend for the Bills as Wilson and Smith, their former defensive end, are enshrined, and then they play in Sunday night's Hall of Fame Game against the Tennessee Titans.

"It's been so exciting ever since it was announced," Bills Coach Dick Jauron said at a news conference Friday, according to a transcript provided by the club. "And for Mr. Wilson, I think it's just so deserved--a guy that loves the game, is loyal to the game, has been so loyal to us and this area, a founding father of the AFL [on] the 50th anniversary of the American Football League. It'll be a terrific day for us. And then Bruce going in at the same time has to make Mr. Wilson feel so proud, too."
