Favre Makes Vikings Debut
Quarterback Brett Favre started and played two offensive series Friday night at the Metrodome in his Minnesota Vikings unveiling, only three days after coming out of retirement to sign with the team.
Favre was greeted by a standing ovation in the once-hostile building and completed one of four passes for four yards in a preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs before giving way to Tarvaris Jackson at quarterback.
He signed Tuesday with the Vikings, only three weeks after declining the club's invitation to report to training camp by telling Coach Brad Childress that he planned to stay in retirement.

When the Vikes got the ball on that turnover for their first drive I was expecting Favre to unleash a deep bomb down the sideline, but still he didn't have a bad first outing, nothing special though. The best thing I heard from the commentators is how Percy Harvin gets dropped off every morning at 7 by his mommy. Touching, really. I hope she packs him a bag lunch too...
