'Prison Consultant' For Burress
According to the New York Post, Plaxico Burress has retained what the newspaper termed a prison consultant.
"We are consulting with an expert in the field who will address and advise us, Mr. Burress and his family, on what to expect while incarcerated, and how to use his period of confinement as productively as possible," Burress's attorney, Benjamin Brafman, said, according to the paper.
Burress pleaded guilty Thursday to a weapon charge stemming from the incident last November in which he accidentally shot himself in the leg at a New York nightclub.
The former New York Giants wide receiver agreed to a two-year prison sentence under a plea deal.
He is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 22.
Brafman has said he expects Burress to actually serve about 20 months in jail.

Of course he's going to big boy jail. Only white guys get the country-club stints.

Ouch, sounds like Burress is going away to big boy jail and not some white collar crime resort. I hope for his sake he runs into some Giants fans...
