Cowboys Most Valuable, Forbes Says
The Dallas Cowboys are the NFL's most valuable franchise, just ahead of the Washington Redskins, with an estimated worth of $1.65 billion, according to the annual rankings by Forbes magazine.
The Redskins are second on the list at $1.55 billion, followed by the New England Patriots at $1.361 billion. Of the 32 franchises, 19 are valued at $1 billion or more on the Forbes list. The Oakland Raiders are last at $797 million.
The values of eight franchises declined over the last year and those of six others were unchanged, according to the magazine.
The Redskins had the highest revenues of any team at $345 million and the largest operating income at $90.3 million, according to Forbes.
