Eagles Release Feeley

The Philadelphia Eagles released quarterback A.J. Feeley, the team announced.

The move came in conjunction with the Eagles claiming defensive tackle Antonio Dixon off waivers. He'd been released by the Washington Redskins.

Feeley's exit leaves the Eagles with two quarterbacks, Donovan McNabb and Kevin Kolb, for now.

Michael Vick is eligible to play in the third game of the season under the terms of his reinstatement by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Too bad, I hope he finds a roster spot somewhere else.
