Two Games in London Next Season?

NEW YORK--The NFL might play two regular season games in London in 2010, Commissioner Roger Goodell said Thursday, adding that he doesn't rule out the possibility of eventually placing a franchise in the city.

"The experience that we've had over there, particularly with the regular season games--this will be the third game we've had over there in the last three years--has been extraordinary," Goodell said. "The first two years we saw the interest grow, the enthusiasm grow for the game. Our other related barometers, whether they be television or they be consumer products, have also seen that same kind of increase.

"So we're going to continue to follow that. We're going to continue to feed that, frankly. And we are considering the idea of playing multiple games in London as early as next year. And I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility that we might have a franchise in London at some point in the future."
