Bengals Place Odom on IR
The Cincinnati Bengals placed defensive end Antwan Odom on the season-ending injured reserve list, the team announced Monday.
Odom underwent surgery for a torn Achilles' tendon suffered Sunday, according to the Bengals' Web site.
He finishes the season with eight sacks.
The Bengals also announced that rookie offensive tackle Andre Smith is scheduled to practice Wednesday.
Smith is working his way back from a broken foot and the Bengals hope to have him ready to play against the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 8, according to the team's Web site.
