Bucs Activate Safety
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers activated safety Tanard Jackson, the team announced Saturday.
He'd been suspended by the NFL for the first four games of the season without pay for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
Jackson had been a starter for the Buccaneers in each of his first two NFL seasons. He was the team's fourth-leading tackler last season.
The Buccaneers released defensive end Maurice Evans.
