Bucs Trade Adams to Bears
The Chicago Bears have obtained defensive end Gaines Adams in a trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Buccaneers announced Friday that they received a second-round draft pick next spring from the Bears.
Adams was a first-round draft choice by the Buccaneers in 2007.
He made 29 starts in 37 games for the Buccaneers and had 13-1/2 sacks.
The deal came four days before next Tuesday's NFL trading deadline.
