Chargers Release Hart
The San Diego Chargers released safety Clinton Hart, the team announced.
Hart had been with the Chargers since 2004 and had been a starter since 2007.
He'd started three of four games this season and had been credited with 16 tackles.
The Chargers re-signed defensive tackle Ian Scott, who was released by the club before the season.
