Delhomme to start

Carolina Panthers Coach John Fox announced Wednesday that Jake Delhomme will be the team's starter at quarterback this weekend.

Delhomme has thrown a league-high 13 interceptions this season, and earlier in the week Fox had left open the possibility of a quarterback switch.

However, he also said at the time he still thought that Delhomme was the club's best quarterback.

The Panthers face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
