Eagles obtain Witherspoon
The Philadelphia Eagles obtained linebacker Will Witherspoon in a trade with the St. Louis Rams.
The Eagles sent rookie wide receiver Brandon Gibson and a fifth-round draft choice next year to St. Louis.
Witherspoon started all six games for the Rams this season.
He has started 105 of 116 games in his eight NFL seasons for the Carolina Panthers and Rams.
