Falcons cut Shockley
The Atlanta Falcons released quarterback D.J. Shockley from their practice squad.
Shockley had been with the Falcons since being selected by them in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL draft out of Georgia.
He spent the 2007 season on the injured reserve list.
The Falcons added running back Antone Smith to their practice squad.
