Jags' Game Blacked Out
According to the Florida Times-Union, the Jacksonville Jaguars' home game Sunday against the St. Louis Rams will be blacked out on local television in the Jaguars' home market for failing to sell out the required 72 hours before kickoff.
Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver had indicated before the season that he expected all of the club's home games this season to be blacked out on local TV.
The Oakland Raiders reportedly also are to have a local TV blackout this weekend.
The Cincinnati Bengals received a 24-hour ticket-selling extension by the NFL, lasting until 1 p.m. Friday, to attempt to sell their remaining tickets and avoid a blackout Sunday.
