Migraines Plagued Harvin
Rookie wide receiver Percy Harvin missed two Minnesota Vikings' practices last week because of migraines, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
The newspaper reported that the Vikings knew about Harvin's history of migraines before drafting him in April and have attempted to help him by consulting specialists and crafting treatment plans.
Even after the two missed practices last week, Harvin had a touchdown on a kickoff return Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
"I was a little drained," Harvin said this week, according to the Star Tribune. "I got a little light-headed during the game but when you're out there playing football, you try to block those things out. I did have a headache, was a little drowsy, got a little tired at times. But like I said, I try not to let that affect me."
Harvin is the first player in Vikings history to score a touchdown in each of his first three NFL games.
