Packers sign Green
The Green Bay Packers signed running back Ahman Green, a former four-time Pro Bowl selection with the team.
The Packers announced the move Wednesday. They placed running back DeShawn Wynn on the injured reserve list, ending his season.
Green played seven seasons for the Packers, between the 2000 and 2006 seasons, and totaled 8,162 rushing yards. He topped 1,000 rushing yards in six of his seven seasons with the Packers and reached the Pro Bowl in four straight seasons between the 2001 and 2004 seasons.
He spent the previous two seasons with the Houston Texans.
Green, 32, has 9,045 rushing yards in his 11-year NFL career, which began with two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.
