Radio report about Bucs sale retracted
A Tampa-area radio station retracted a report that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are for sale because of financial losses suffered by the Glazer family, which owns the team.
The station, WDAE, said in a written statement that on-air comments by one of its hosts were "factually incorrect."
The written statement, posted on the station's Web site, also said: "We sincerely apologize for those statements and hereby issue a full retraction."
The Buccaneers had denied the report.
