Colts' Sanders to play

Safety Bob Sanders is scheduled to make his season debut Sunday for the Indianapolis Colts.

The former NFL defensive player of the year has been sidelined all season while recovering from knee surgery.

According to the Indianapolis Star, Colts Coach Jim Caldwell said Friday that Sanders is "feeling good" and is "going to play."

But Caldwell said he's "not really sure yet" how much Sanders will play, according to the Star.

"It's prudent to see how it all unfolds and see how he is on game day and kind of make an adjustment accordingly," Caldwell said, according to the Star. "We have an idea of what we want to do."

The Colts play at St. Louis.
