Seau Deal Official
BOSTON--The New England Patriots officially announced the signing of linebacker Junior Seau.
He is to play a 20th NFL season, and a fourth with the Patriots.
The television network Versus, for which Seau is hosting a show, had announced Tuesday that Seau had agreed to a contract with the Patriots. The team did not confirm the deal then, however.
The Patriots released defensive lineman Terdell Sands.
