Clifton, Tauscher to rescue for G.B.?
The Green Bay Packers might have Chad Clifton at left tackle and Mark Tauscher at right tackle this weekend.
Clifton hasn't played a full game since the season opener because of an ankle injury and Tauscher recently was re-signed after suffering a knee injury late last season.
They perhaps could be asked to rescue a Packers' offensive line that has surrendered 31 sacks this season.
"No substitute for experience, and Mark Tauscher and Chad Clifton have a ton of it," Packers Coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday, according to the Associated Press. "You see that just in the practice today, just some of the things that they do. Any time you add experience to your group, it's definitely a benefit."
