Pats cut Simmons
The New England Patriots released guard Kendall Simmons, the team announced Friday.
Simmons played in one game and was on the inactive list for six others after being signed by the Patriots on Sept. 6.
He previously spent seven seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
