Porter says Brady has 'own set of rules'

Miami Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter said that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has "his own set of rules."

"When a guy can tell a ref when to throw a flag and he gets it and stuff like that, I mean he got his own rules," Porter said during his weekly segment Thursday on the league-owned NFL Network, according to a written account of the comments on the league's Web site.

"They made the whole 'Don't go at the legs' [rule] because of Tom. So whenever he feels that somebody is coming at his legs, he just points at the ref and he gets the flag. So you got to honestly say that he has his own set of rules."

The Dolphins play at New England on Sunday.
