Stafford starts for Lions
Rookie Matthew Stafford started at quarterback Thursday for the Detroit Lions.
Stafford had been listed as doubtful on the injury report.
He didn't practice all week after suffering a separated left shoulder during last Sunday's triumph over the Cleveland Browns.
But the injury is to Stafford's non-throwing shoulder, and he was in the lineup for the Thanksgiving game.
Stafford threw a pair of first-half interceptions. He also threw a touchdown pass but the Green Bay Packers lead the Lions, 13-7, at halftime.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 204 yards and a touchdown in the first half.
