Steelers not saying if Clark will play
The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't giving any official indications if safety Ryan Clark will play in Monday night's game in Denver.
According to the Associated Press, the Steelers listed Clark as questionable on their official injury report Saturday.
Clark potentially could suffer life-threatening health complications from physical exertion at high altitudes due to a rare sickle-cell trait. He underwent surgery to have his spleen removed after playing a game in Denver two years ago.
Doctors reportedly have cleared Clark to play in this game and have indicated there is a low risk of him suffering such complications again. But the league-owned NFL Network reported earlier this week that the Steelers likely would withhold Clark from the game.
