Kicking change for Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons made a kicking change Tuesday, releasing Jason Elam and signing Matt Bryant.
Elam was only 12 for 19 on field goal attempts this season, that after connecting on 29 of 31 last season for the Falcons.
Bryant spent the previous four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also had stints with the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants.
The Falcons also changed long snappers, releasing Bryan Pittman and signing Joe Zelenka.
In addition, the Falcons re-signed quarterback D.J. Shockley to their practice squad.
