Suh, McCoy to attend draft

According to the NFL's Web site, eight players have accepted invitations to be on hand in New York for the NFL draft and several others are deciding whether to attend.

The players to accept invitations are defensive tackles Ndamukong Suh of Nebraska, Gerald McCoy of Oklahoma, Dan Williams of Tennessee and Jared Odrick of Penn State; offensive tackles Russell Okung of Oklahoma State and Trent Williams of Oklahoma; Tennessee safety Eric Berry; and Georgia Tech defensive end Derrick Morgan.

Among the players who have been invited but are yet to accept are quarterbacks Sam Bradford of Oklahoma, Jimmy Clausen of Notre Dame, Tim Tebow of Florida and Colt McCoy of Texas.

The draft is scheduled for April 22-24. Under the league's new draft format, the first round is on a Thursday night, the second and third rounds are on a Friday evening and the fourth through seventh rounds are on a Saturday.

According to the league's Web site, the NFL will invite a larger than usual number of players to the draft.
