Colts Will Rally

I think they can turn it around. I don't know that I have a real objective view here on this one, but they've just had some things go against them. They lost some defensive tackles. They're having the same problem they had a few years ago stopping the run. They started the season pretty beat up on offense. They still have a few new offensive linemen in there, I think. Peyton was beat up, and [Joseph] Addai.

All of that sounds like excuses. But the Colts have been so good for so long, you just expect them to win 12 games every year automatically. And it's not that easy in this league. I don't know that there are any really, really great teams this year, but anyone can beat you. I just think the Colts have good ownership, good management and good coaching. They have experienced guys and good leadership. They'll fight. That's what you have to do. You can't panic

I'm a Skins fan but I have a TREMENDOUS amount of respect for Peyton as a QB. I think they can bounce back. They're not doing as well as they have before but they are not doing HORRIBLY either. Well it might be horrible for Colts fans used to above average but I still think they'll bounce back.

I think there are some variables, new stadium means you need different types of players, no more astroturf and all. The top skills guys are getting to that point where their skills are not what they were. That skill set of theirs where you keep elite players and put all the money into 5-10 guys will only work as long as those players do.

Hey Archie!

Peyton will RALLY!!! He's surrounded by the best players and coaching staff. My bets always on him - he's a genuine leader.

Great article!
