They Deserved It


Some games just don't deserve to have a winner.

The Eagles-Bengals game yesterday falls into that category. It was an eyesore. A tie was proper punishment for both teams.

I don't know that the league really needs to eliminate ties. Really, how often does it come up? The last NFL tie before this one came six years ago. Is it really that much of a problem?

Someone should inform Donovan McNabb that there are regular season ties in the NFL, and you only play a second quarter of overtime (and beyond, if necessary) in the postseason. Once that's done, I probably wouldn't do anything more on this issue.
