Forte For Sure

The first name that comes to mind for me is Matt Forte.

The Bears are playing well. They're 5-3. And he's not only their leading rusher, but also their leading receiver. He's made a difference at a position where they needed the help.

He's really played well and if you can get a guy like that outside the first round, that's extremely helpful.

I think the question is misleading. 2nd round picks are expected to be contributors just like first round picks. Floyd, you answered the question. But it was a badly asked question. It really should ask for rookies that were 2nd day picks.

Runningbacks have shown that they can make the quickest adjustment to the NFL. Whether they are 1st, 2nd, or even 5th round picks.
