Favre Can Still Play

I'm doing the Jets-Dolphins game this weekend, so I'll get to see Favre against Chad Pennington. That will certainly be interesting.

I had a Jets game a few weeks ago and Favre looked very good for a half, and then things kind of fell apart for the Jets in the second half.

But he still seems to be playing at a high level. I think he certainly can keep playing if he wants to. It's up to him. I don't know what he's going to do, but he can still play well if he wants to keep playing. He's shown that this season.

I'm glad to see attempt to raise the level of comments in these spaces. I get depressed about our country when i see so many irrational and mean spirited, almost illiterate, remarks. Our education system needs higher standards, and our people need higher public behavior standards.

Brett and Lance need to develop a new life outside sports. It would be tough to see "your best years" in the rear view mirror, but football and/or biking aren't what real life is about anyway. May each of them discover new and meaningful lives outside sports.
