If you had money on Atlanta and Arizona both going to the playoffs this year - let me know which Island you can now afford. I'll be there for your New Year's soiree.

The answer to the question posted is probably the dangerous Cardinals passing game, however, the Arizona defense has been so suspect of late that it's the Falcons rushing game that I believe will make the ultimate difference.

Atlanta is winning Saturday. Forget home field, the Falcons are the better, hotter team. They were a last-second Carolina FG away from a first-round bye and they won 11 games in what turned out to be an incredibly competitive division. Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, Roddy White are the more battle-tested team and it will show this weekend.

That's not to say Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald won't put up the statistics in the Cardinals' first franchise home playoff game since the Truman administration - because they will. But defense trumps all in the playoffs and I'll give that edge to Atlanta.
