NE, Maybe

Although I don't know him personally, it seems like he wouldn't fit in anywhere. If you look at his track record you'll see that he has been a distraction over the course of his career. He has also put up great numbers, but is it worth it? That depends on your coaching philosophy. The best player at a position is not necessarily the best fit for that team.

For Owens it would take a very mature team to hire him at this point in his career. I think the New England Patriots might be able to handle him, maybe. Wide receivers, because of the nature of their position, are judged by the number of catches they have. That's why you see them on the sidelines sometimes complaining they don't get the ball enough.

This can be a distraction for teams, as Owens has been throughout his long career. Sometimes the best way to prevent that kind of problem is to not bring it into your locker room in the first place. We're coaches, not psychologists.

For vet. min. and lots of incentives, i would bring him in here. Otherwise forget it.

Is it TO's fault that the Cowboys didn't go to the show? I DON'T THINK SO!

I can't believe the guy was so shocked at his release.

NE will take him. It will be a multi year deal with team and or player options after the first year and filled with incentives. So they get him as he attempts to audition for another team and he gets basically a signing bonus. They have established that they have a strong locker room and another mercurial reciever who already fit in. Then as predicted they will use all their new draft picks from KC to pursue Peppers. NE then is in the AFC championship. Any other team is just asking for a headache that will leave them worse then they were.
