A Sad Day

It's certainly a sad day in Philadelphia. I didn't know Harry real well. I saw him on occasion, socially. Sometimes we would run into each other in the airport during while traveling on the road for football.

A man like Harry Kalas is more than a radio sports broadcaster he's the voice of a team, and the voice of a sport. He's been around so long that people don't know how to listen to games without him.

He was such a giving warm and friendly person. He tried to make everyone feel important. He never rushed, even when he was rushed, he never rushed or never made you feel rushed. His voice will resonate in the minds and hearts of Philly fans until they pass.
