NFL Strikes Back

Sports betting became legal in Delaware when Gov. Jack Markell signed a bill permitting it into law today, the Associated Press reported.

However, the law still could face a legal challenge.

The Wilmington News Journal reported that the NFL already has filed a legal brief with the state Supreme Court challenging the legislation.

A hearing is scheduled for May 21, according to the AP.
