More Shocking: Belichick's Call or Bengals'

Patriots coach Bill Belichick goes for it on fourth and two on his own 28 and the Patriots lose. The Cincinnati Bengals come into Pittsburgh and make the Steelers look yellow. Which was the biggest week 10 shocker?

The Bengals have proven all season long they are a good team and had alredy beatn the Steelers once this year. I fully expected Cincinnati to win the game so not a shock at all.

Hats off to the Bengals; they've won two close ones against Pittsburgh, and they have their own fate in their hands.

There should be no shock when one 6-2 team beats another--especially when the Steelers had only six days rest after a tough high-altitude game in Denver.

The Bengals' defense is the big difference this year. Who knows--the playoffs may feature Steelers/Bengals III.

The reason the Patriots lost to the Colts is not because Belichick decided to roll the dice (and nearly won) on 4th and 2. The reason the Patriots lost the game is that they turned the ball over TWICE IN THE ENDZONE. As the result, a potential blowout turned into a very close game. Lost in all the hysteria over BB's call is that the Pats, once again, are ready to compete with the NFL's elite. (I wonder who is most responsible for that development? Could it be Bill Belichick? Just wondering.)

In the larger context of the season, I find Cincinatti's victory in Pittsburgh more shocking by far. They beat the reigning Super Bowl Champion on its own home field in a matchup that was clearly for the division crown. Furthermore, not only did the Bengals win, but they out-physicaled the Steelers, literally beating them at their own game. That is very impressive stuff! And quite unexpected.
