With the astounding results of this poll, we can only hope that the Redskins front office finally gets the message loud and clear. Riggo may have pushed the boundaries, but he did not cross the line. As he has throughout his association with DC and the Redskins, he has lived up to his controversial image. It's great fodder for discussion, but it's even more important that the message not be lost: From the perspective of a Redskins fan, Dan Snyder IS a bad guy and DOES have a black heart. The guy is quite simply hated, not primarily for the won/loss record but for his arrogance, inaccessibility, lack of leadership, gestapo-like policies, inability to learn from past mistakes (see "arrogance"), etc. He has earned our complete scorn and John Riggins should be commended for speaking out on behalf of the Redskin Fan Nation.

John Riggins' comments were not shocking in the least. First, he already made remarks in that video out in the woods that's already been aired. But, more importantly, he's just expressing what the fans already feel about Snyder (except the remark about Snyder's heart being 'dark' -- that I don't agree). Talk about legacies, Dan Snyder's legacy may be destroyed. He could be seen as being worse Robert Irsay, the Colts owner moved the team in the dead of night. Yeah, Snyder is that hated right now. And he did it to himself. He says he's a fan of the Redskins. Well, I can't imagine being a fan and being that hated by your fellow fans.

Hire a GENERAL MANAGER and let him run the team and all will be forgiven! If Mr. Snyder is a true fan like he says he will do what is right! If he does`nt he gets what he deserves!KARMA!

Dan Snyder is like Old Man Bailey in the movie It's a Wonderful Life. John's real comments have not been discussed here which were, "It's all about the egotistical Dan Snyder." Every thing he has done falls under that category in my opinion. He puts himself first...that is the point.

What line was John Riggins supposed to have crossed? He is (a) an American citizen, (b) a Hall-of-Fame football player, (c) a Washington Redskin for 13 seasons, (d) is a pro football commentator on the air, and (e) is commenting on the owner of the very team he played for.

How could he possibly have 'crossed' any line?!?!

Was he wrong or right -- different discussion entirely. But does he have the standing to comment about Dan Snyder? Of course he does!!

Go Diesel! Riggo is right on target. DS is the reason our Skins have sunk to an all time low. A big kid with enough $$$ to go out and buy his favorite "toy". He knows absolutely nothing about team ownership and needs to stay out of operations. Hire a reputable GM and Coach and let them do their job!
