Madness excites

The NFL is my wife and the other sports are like my Tiger mistresses... wait.

Anyway, you get what I am saying. No other league compares to the NFL, but when you are talking about pure excitement over a short period of time:

The NFL is great but by the time you reach the last month of the season they only excitement normally is which mediocre team will make the playoffs.

Currently the Colts, Cardinals, Saints and Vikings have their divisions virtually wrapped up.

Watching Jim Sorgi, Matt Leinart and Tarvaris Jackson finish up the year isn't exactly must see TV.

When the NFL playoff starts that is when the true drama takes place, but the last month of the season is no better or worse than the beginning or middle of season.

The interesting thing about NCAA Basketball is that, unless you are a true fan, the regular season means nothing to you, but everyone fills out a Final Four bracket.

Your mom, your grandma, that guy who thinks Lebron James went to Duke and everyone else.

People who haven't been sick all year will come up with a mysterious illness just to call off work to watch tournament games.

It is called March Madness for a reason. No sport dominants one month more than the NCAA Basketball does in March.

Ironically the Final Four is in April, but to be honest the Final Four isn't as popular as the 1st and 2nd round tournament games, the sweet 16 or the Elite 8.

The NFL is great, but even Gus Johnson gets more excited for March Madness -- do you need any more validation?

I didn't think so.
