Sorry, New Orleans

I'm so sorry it has to end this way. It's not that you aren't a good football team. In fact, I really like you. Your team has been a symbol of New Orleans. It has fought back against the odds to make its first trip to the Super Bowl. It is made up of talented football players who are also good role models. Much like the city it represents, your team is an inspiration. I admire you, and I always will, but that's just not enough.
Please don't be upset. It isn't you; it's me. Well, not really me so much as the Colts. Drew Brees is good, but Peyton Manning is not even human. Brees makes a few big plays to a couple of very good receivers, but Manning's game is nearly perfect with several superior receivers. The offensive might of the Colts will be too much for you. Your defense won't be able to stop it.
I hope we can still be friends. We'll still see each other occasionally next season, and I'll even cheer for you as long as you aren't playing the Colts. Remember the good times we had, like when I cheered you on against the Patriots and the Vikings. Maybe we can get together over some jambalaya and talk. By then you'll be able to look back on this and laugh. I hope there are no hard feelings. It couldn't be helped.
