The Windy City beckons

Eventually, someone this offseason is going to roll the dice on T.O. He didn't have a great year last season, but given how bad the Bills offense was he did pretty well in context. He still can get open, he still catches touchdowns and in the end, someone is going to see a value in that. He's not going to get any more than a one year deal, which seemed to keep him in line last year.

For me, the perfect fit for him would be the Chicago Bears. That team has loaded itself for a run right now with its offseason spending spree and see themselves as a real contender. Wide receiver just might be their biggest need. No one on that team caught more than 60 passes last year. Terrell Owens could immediately step in as a threat in the red zone and a reliable go to guy for Jay Cutler. Even if TO put up the same stats in Chicago as he did with a bad Buffalo team, he would have still led the Bears WRs in yardage and TDs.

The best thing is that Owens could probably be had for relatively cheap. For a team that handed out over $120 million in contracts to three guys this offseason, how would adding Owens not be worth it?
