Atlanta ready to bounce back

As much as I love my 49ers, I think the Atlanta Falcons are the team ready to bounce back and potentially do some damage in the playoffs. If they can stay healthy, they've added some huge weapons to that team. Dunta Robinson will be a huge help for the defense, and drafting Sean Witherspoon will be a big boost. For a defense that was in the bottom half of the league, those two moves alone should be enough to bump them well into the top half of the league.
On the offensive side of the ball, if Michael Turner can return to anything remotely resembling his 2008 form, the offense will be in a much better position. The offense dropped to the middle of the pack last year thanks to the drop in the running game. Furthermore, a stronger running game would benefit QB Matt Ryan. He had a little bit of a sophomore slump last year and will be looking to bounce back. The Falcons have plenty of question marks, but if just Ryan and Turner improve they're a playoff team again. If they get some consistency on both sides of the ball, I could definitely see them making some noise next January.

Yes, they may make a run. But ONLY if Turner, Harry Douglas, and Peria Jerry actually come back from their injuries. The fact that they were not ready for OTAs is deeply troubling, and puts a question mark on the whole season.
