Stick with Vick

Michael Vick showed last week in the team's 7-point loss to the Packers that he still has what it takes to be a starting QB in the NFL. He played with poise, didn't panic when under pressure, and was on target with a lot of his throws.

Vick has quietly stood on the sidelines while all the press in Philly was given to Kevin Kolb, who was handed the starting job when the Eagles traded Donovan McNabb to the Redskins on Easter Sunday. While he had the offseason incident at his birthday party, that is behind him and Vick should be given a fair shot to be a starter once again.

Kolb has had an up and down career with the Eagles when given the chance to play, and while he can and may very well be a good QB when it's all said and done, Vick brings more to the table. He has veteran experience, can still do damage with his legs, and seems to have a chip on his shoulder to prove that he can play at a high level in the NFL.

Here's a vote for Andy Reid to pull the plug on Kolb, at least for now, and go to Vick. The team needs to have a leader that has more snaps under center as well as more wins under his belt than Kolb, and Vick is that guy.
