Another Steel trophy

It's a game that gets bigger and bigger every year, and this year Super Bowl XLV will highlight two of the most storied franchises in the NFL - the Packers, the team of the 60s, against the Steelers, the team of the 70s.

Of course the Steelers also have something else going for them, and that is two NFL titles in four years, and a possible third in five years, which could push the Patriots for one of the better teams the past 10-12 years.

The Packers are the hot team, as they have won their three playoff games all on the road, and all in impressive fashion over the Eagles, Falcons and Bears. Aaron Rodgers is playing great football, and the run game has had a spark. It won't be so easy against a Steelers D that is the best in the business, and will pressure Rodgers.

On the other side, the Packers D will be challenged by Steelers QB Ben Roethlsiberger, who always seems to find ways to make plays when the game is on the line. The Steelers will look to run the ball, control the tempo, and keep the Packers offense off the field. The Steelers defense should be able to hold Rodgers somewhat in check, and look for Rashard Mendenhall to have 20-25 carries for the Steelers as they try to control the clock.

I like the way the Steelers handle their business, and I think the experience will also play a part. They also have the extra motivation of being the underdog. Look for the Steelers to hoist another Lombardi at the end of the day.
