Pick Against Mike: Week 7

Editors Note: After reading Wilbon's picks, test your prognostication skills by signing up for Post Pro Picks.

Boy, I stunk out the joint last week. But looking at the reader percentages tells me we ALL stunk it up. Gotta do better this week, though it's going to be difficult because there are only three locks the entire slate of games: Colts over Rams, Patriots over Bucs and Packers over Cleveland. Everything else is tough to call ...

Vikings at Steelers
Game of the Week: Vikings don't have a quality road win and, in fact, were outplayed by Niners and Ravens at home in Minneapolis. This is the kind of game where the Steelers rock heads. Pittsburgh at home.

49ers at Texans
Is it just me or is Houston, particularly the offense, starting to roll? Texans narrowly.

Colts at Rams
Once a season a game like this ruins pools everywhere. Indy's going to drop one we're not expecting ... but not this one. Colts big.

Chargers at Chiefs
San Diego is such an overrated dog team ... again ... but they'll find a way late to beat the Chiefs in K.C. If they don't, look for heads to roll. San Diego.

Patriots at Bucs
New England NEVER loses these games. Never.

Packers at Browns
Tempted to use the upset card, but my preseason MVP pick, Aaron Rodgers, is playing too well. Green Bay on the road.

Bills at Panthers
Panthers, helped by three straight sorry, no-account opponents (Redskins, Tampa, Buffalo) climb back into wild card race. Carolina big at home.

Jets at Raiders
Here we go ...Raiders at home. I'm swayed by Richard Seymour's guarantee that the Raiders will make the playoffs. Okay, they won't ... but the Jets are going to fly west and find the same fate as the Eagles did last week.

Falcons at Cowboys
Second best game of the week. Cowboys had the week off to get themselves together. They need this one to keep all hell from breaking loose in Big D. Cowboys in OT.

Bears at Bengals
Chicago coaches ought to be smarting over how stupidly the team played last week on national TV. They'll beat the Bengals by a field goal.

Saints at Dolphins
Here's your upset of the week ... Miami's on a roll after dropping three straight to begin the season. Somebody needs to throw the Saints defense a curve, and Miami's Wildcat will do just that.

Cardinals at Giants
G-Men bounce back big after losing in Big Easy. Travel-challenged Cardinals have already won once in the eastern time zone this fall; that's it. Giants at home.

Eagles at Redskins
What a dreadful game to play on Monday night for the entire nation to see ...35 percent of the people in the stands will be Philly fans and 50 percent of them will have been drinking since 5 p.m. Redskins lose but they don't get blown out. Eagles, if they're going to play up to their expectations, can't lose to Raiders and Redskins back-to-back. Philly close.

Chiefs will beat the Chargers since the entire SD team has the flu! Skins have won 3 of the last 4 against Philly, I hope they can play up to their opponent as well as they can play down to their opponent.

I have to say that this is going against everything that I know ...
but, I think the skins will win.
