In Wilbon's World

Pick Against Mike: Week 4

Editors' Note: After reading Wilbon's picks, test your prognostication skills by signing up for Post Pro Picks. Your worst four weeks are thrown out, so it's not too late.

If you're wondering how Wilbon is doing so far, well ... he's batting .600, good for 483rd among all Post Pro Picks users (in the 49th percentile). We'll grill Wilbon about his performance to date the next time we talk ...

Lions at Bears
Bears coaches should thank the Redskins for giving the Chicago players good reason to pay attention this week -- they can't take the Lions for granted now. Bears will win at home over feisty Detroit.

Buccaneers at Redskins
WWW isn't going to the well again. Losing to Detroit was kinda forseeable; losing to the Buccaneers at home is unforgivable. Redskins at home.

Raiders at Texans
If the Texans can't get themselves straightened out this week, maybe they're really not playoff material after all. Houston wins at home.

Seahawks at Colts
Over the past seven or eight seasons, the Colts have won more games that they're supposed to win than anybody except the Patriots. A backup QB ain't gonna fly east and beat the Colts. Indy at home.

Giants at Chiefs
I went against the G-Men last week, not going to do it this week against a team as weak as Kansas City. Giants win.

Ravens at Patriots
Oooooh, Ooooooh, Ooooooh! Game of the Week perhaps. Ravens won't get stage-fright like the Falcons did last week, but I'll take the Patriots at home, in OT.

Bengals at Browns
Whenever you start to fall in like with the Bengals, resist. Derek Anderson was pretty darned good two years ago. I'm taking him Sunday to get the Browns a win at home.

Titans at Jaguars
I just can't see the Titans going 0-4 even though Kerry Colllins looks shaky. Titans finally get a win.

Bills at Dolphins
T.O. will begin to show his truly poisonous side as the Dolphins finally get a win.

Jets at Saints
Okay, this is a second Game of the Week. The league's best D (Denver is the stingiest, but not the best) vs. the league's best O. Usually, I believe in D but Drew Brees is an MVP zone right now. Saints at home.

Cowboys at Broncos
Denver hasn't beaten anybody, right? The Broncos will have by Sunday night when they beat the Cowboys.

Rams at 49ers
Niners have to be careful of these "trap" games. These are the kinds of opponents truly good teams put in their pockets. Niners at home.

Chargers at Steelers
A third Game of the Week? Seems San Diego never wins these games and Pittsburgh usually does. Steelers at home.

Packers at Vikings
A fourth Game of the Week? Brett Favre vs. his old teammates. Brett Favre vs. Aaron Rodgers. Packers have to be a little bit tired of the old man, right? Packers win.

The Browns will be lucky to get a win this season, let alone this week.
