In Wilbon's World

Pick Against Mike: Week 13

Rams at Bears
Not even the Bears offense is dreadful enough to blow this one in Chicago. Bears can only beat the dreadful teams and will again.

Raiders at Steelers
Season on the line for the defending champs. Steelers will come through at home.

Broncos as Chiefs
Ah, here's the spot to pick a nice little upset. Chiefs at home.

Eagles at Falcons
Michael Vick returns home to play, what, two or three snaps in Andy Reid's unimaginative offense? No Matt Ryan, no win for ATL. Eagles close.

Lions at Cininnati
Still scared to trust the Bengals but the loss to the Raiders a couple of weeks ago should scare the daylights out of the Bengals. Cincy big.

Patriots at Miami
The Dolphins aren't the Colts or Saints. Patriots bounce back on the road.

Saints at Redskins
Trap game for New Orleans, right? No. Gregg Williams will get the Saints defense revved up and the Redskins just can't score enough points to get the upset. Saints pull away late.

Titans at Colts
Colts want so badly to get rid of the undefeated talk. Fine, the Titans will take care of that on the road, in Indy.Tennessee keeps rolling and reaches .500.

Texans at Jacksonville
Loser slips out of the wild-card race, which means the Texans slip out of the wild-card race. Jags at home.

Tampa Bay at Carolina
Bucs really are playing better ... should have won three of last four. Delhomme is so, so awful. I'm in an upset state of mind. Bucs steal it on the road.

Chargers at Browns
You're kidding, right? San Diego cruises.

Cowboys at Giants
Two overrated squads separated by not much. Division and wild-card spots still up. Manning's foot woes should let Cowboys in the door, but Dallas will find a way to blow it. G-Men get it together for one more week.

Niners at Seattle
Last chance for Mike Singletary's crew to make the playoffs this year. Another road win in the NFL? Yes, 49ers by a FG late.

Vikings at Cardinals
Best game in the NFC this weekend. Vikes have beaten up on a bunch of nobodies. Cardinals have struggled at home, but a rested Kurt Warner puts the defending NFC champs really close to another playoff spot.

Ravens at Packers
Ravens have a way of turning these games against good teams into heartbreaking defeats. Three times already this season it's happened. Do I hear four? Packers in OT at home.

Editor's note: Play the pick 'em game and compare your results to Mike's here. And here is Wilbon's Thursday pick ...

Jets at Buffalo
There's something feisty about the Bills in recent weeks, win or lose. There's something annoying about the Jets in recent weeks, win or lose. Bills close in near-home game.

Wilbon I quote from last week.. "Done with picking against the Colts for awhile." But you pick the Titans to beat them? I think Peyton will pull out the win as usual. Maybe Denver will beat them.
